European Champs 2024 here we come

With the Championships being held just over the pond and hosted by a very good friend, Wash Warriors decided we fancied a road trip and chancing our luck racing against our friends in Europe.

The club is looking to take 3 teams of various speeds, made up of mainly spainels as everyone knows we are over run with them (14!!), collies and poodles.

The team kicked into gear to start fundrasing to help with the cost of getting the dogs across the pond.

So far we have held 2 raffles, a lucky dip and we've had some very generous donations. Today (28.12.23) three team members and 4 dogs went on a sponsored walk (Look out for the special blog and shout out to our team members) and we have raised just under £1k to go towards 20 dogs in 2023.

We have more fundrasising set for 2024:

February - Houndogs Gig held in Spalding, where we will have a Bar, Raffle lots of dancing and laughter.

May - We will be attending Costessey Fete at Norwich Showground, where we will be showing a live Demo with these dogs and a have a go on Saturday and Sunday

July - We will be attending Newton Fete where we will be also doing a Demo and a have a go on the Saturday

We are also hosting our own competitions in June and August where any funds raised will also go towards our fundraising...

We also have in the pipeline a crafty car boot so watch this space....
